Background: Rebuilding After Global Challenges
With Richard Smith and his team at Seasons Bali, I started their campaign by developing their website in 2010 – the same year that saw us living and working in Canggu (Bali).
We designed and built their first website, then began an SEO campaign for them – as well as Google Ads marketing.
Along the way Google made it very hard for rehabilitation facilities to advertise addiction services by way of Google Ads by restricting the advertising of recovery-orientated services for drug and alcohol addiction. This policy was applied globally.
This meant SEO became their most valuable marketing strategy, as Seasons Bali is a treatment centre for addicts.
